Welcome!

First things first!  I design and create an extensive variety of unique, hand-crafted, custom woodworking projects. These projects are inspired by my passion for creating beautiful, innovative, imaginative, and often one-of-a-kind pieces that capture a special vision that my customers entrust to me. Each project I create is custom-made specifically FOR YOU.  It is important to me to communicate directly with prospective customers, one-on-one, to learn about their woodworking ideas and design preferences to meet their current needs. This ‘hands-on’, open communication approach will continue through the design, construction, and delivery/installation process of your custom piece.  I will design 3-D models for your review, welcome your feedback during the design process, and send pictures to you throughout the construction phase so that you are with me from start to finish.

My Invitation To You

So, how do we get started?  You are invited to go to the “Idea Gallery” section of my website to look through my previous custom projects.  Once you have seen the scope of my work and have a vision of your own custom project, go to the “Contact Me” section.  Fill out the information required, and I will get in touch with you about your project.

If you would like to know a little more about me and how my passion turned into my livelihood keep on reading on . . .

Early Ambitions to Build

I am originally from Western New York, specifically Elmira. While growing up, my parents always did every home project themselves.  I always wanted to get my hands dirty and work on projects with them and my sister.  I helped them through home renovations, remodels, indoor projects, outdoor projects, and a variety of other smaller builds.  I continued following my passion for woodworking and designing things through shop classes in high school.  My instructor taught me a lot about woodworking and helped me ‘hone in’ on some of the raw skills I developed.  At this time, I was also introduced to CAD design which was perfect for me because while I am very creative and imaginative I can not sketch at all. Little did I know at the time that I would be using this skill to convey woodworking projects in the future.

After I left for college, I did not woodwork for about 6 years. I graduated with an engineering degree, went back to my hometown to work for a local engineering company, and then a year later decided to move to South Carolina to change environments and jobs. Here, my wife and I set down our roots as parents and homeowners, and my passion for woodworking would be reignited once again.

My wife and I thought it would be a great idea to buy a brand-new home and get married at the same time.  I was in charge of working with the builders for our home in SC while my wife was finishing her Master’s degree and planning our wedding in New York.  Just a quick aside, I don’t recommend doing these at the same time it was A LOT!  I closed on our home in South Carolina on May 15th then flew up to New York to get married on May 31st.

After we got back from our honeymoon, and we were living in our new home we quickly decided that mass-produced furniture was not what we wanted in our house. We wanted to make our house into our home. I used the power tools that my friends bought me as wedding presents to get back into woodworking and to start making furniture for our new home.

My Vision

The most gratifying part of this business for me is working side-by-side with people, taking their ideas and their visions, and creating a custom-built, handcrafted piece that exceeds all of their expectations.

I have been in your shoes!  I understand the dilemma of being unable to find the right piece of furniture for the right space and that is built to last.  Customers should not have to compromise their dream, or their vision due to the limitations of mass-produced furniture. My decision not to compromise, to create/build that perfect piece for that perfect space, drives me to do the same for our customers.  I can help turn your house into your home by incorporating your design ideas into the perfect piece made specifically for you.

You are My Priority

Every day, I get the opportunity to meet new people, to learn how they envision their home and their projects.  Then, I am entrusted with the responsibility of taking their vision and creating a hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind custom piece.  This enables me to work on a LARGE variety of individualized projects.  Everyone has their own taste, style, and home preferences and those differences create an unlimited variety of custom woodworking solutions.

The design process, the thrill of creating something different, the satisfaction of creating something unique for each customer, and the look on their face when they see their completed project in person, are all of the reasons that I am so passionate about woodworking.

My Dedication to My Craft

In May of 2021, I left my full-time job as an engineer and started to pursue woodworking full-time.  I am still new to my full-time journey, and I am looking forward to the possibilities that it brings.  Thank you for coming to my website, and I hope that I can make something custom for you.  Please reach out with any questions.
